Health and safety plays a major role in the day-to-day operations of TOJAX, with practical measures introduced and maintained on every site.
- Providing safety clothing to all workers, including helmets, overalls, facemasks, safety belts and safety boots, and to visitors where applicable.
- Providing adequate support to excavations to minimise the chances of sides collapsing.
- Providing adequate covers, temporary fencing and warning signs to deep excavations and other dangerous points on site.
- Ensuring a complete first aid box is on site at all times, with a person available to give first aid services.
